Posted by Sharon on July 27, 2003 at 18:59:20: Last week a gardening friend invited me to take some of her black eyed susans when she was thinning her flowerbeds. While I thought we dug up enough of the roots, they're still looking pretty droopy. Tonight another gardening friend said that I should just cut them back now and that they'd probably come back next year. Do you think I should do this?? (I'm in zone 7). Thanks for any and all suggestions!
