Volunteer Rose

HELP! Two years ago I lost one of my roses, so I pulled the roots out and discarded it. To my suprise, I found a brand new baby rose this morning! Should I lift it out and keep it indoors in a pot over winter or leave it alone? It's SO little!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
