: Hello, : Can you winter an Asclepias Silky Red (perennial)?. It is currently in the ground. The tag that came with the plant said to treat it as an annual, which i don't want to beleive. I live in NH and our winters can get pretty cold. : Thanks for your help, : Nancy Hi Nancy, There are some milkweed that grow only in the warmer zones. I would suggest you let it go to seed, collect them and replant them in the spring. I have great luck with milkweed seed germination. Newt
