: I love the look of daisies in my garden, but I have a hard time keeping them from spreading everywhere. Any advice? Also, they bloom early and look good until about July 4th. At that time, is it OK to just cut them all down to the ground?
Hi Bonnie ~
I've never tried this, but I read somewhere that you can insert "dividers" deep into the earth to keep invasive plants in place. If I recall, the suggestion was to use thin sheet metal or other material...sounds logical but, honestly, that's too much effort for me!
Once your daisies are spent, you can deadhead them or cut the stems back, leaving the foliage.
