My Sedums are Dying

: Help - I have 20 sedum plants that are just falling over lifeless.  This is the second year in a row this has happened.  It happened the same time of the year last year.  The plants are about five years old.  The first couple of years they were fine.  It has been very hot and dry here in northern Illinois. They have an eastern and southern full sun exposure.  Any ideas why they are dying?
