Moving Asiatic Lillies

I have a bed of lillies that have completed their blooming period for this year but I now have to move them due to some construction that has to be done on my home.

Is it safe to dig them up even though their foliage is still very green and healthy? Can I put them immediatly back into the ground?

I would appreciate any help due to the fact that if they are not moved, I will loose them for sure. :-(
