: I have a bed of lillies that have completed their blooming period for this year but I now have to move them due to some construction that has to be done on my home.

: Is it safe to dig them up even though their foliage is still very green and healthy? Can I put them immediatly back into the ground?

: I would appreciate any help due to the fact that if they are not moved, I will loose them for sure. :-(

: Thanks

Yes, you can dig them up and either plant them in the ground or in pots until they can go back into the ground if it's before frost. You may find that they don't bloom as well next year, but give them time to recover.

Good luck with the construction. Been there, done that.
