: I want to trim my bush to half the size it is will it have regrowth or just die off?
You can easily reduce the size by half and it will grow back. It really is best to cut one third a year so as not to stress the plant. If you do cut it by half, do it in late February or early March. Also, consider pruning the oldest stems to the ground to reduce the overall size.
