: Just bought a retirement home 30 mi no.east of Walla Walla in a protected valley.  It freezes some nights and in some days. Would like to plant California bred 10 yr olds in groups of three under 20 yr old pines.  3 hrs subdued a.m. winter sun.  Thanks so much for any info
