: Just bought a retirement home 30 mi no.east of Walla Walla in a protected valley. It freezes some nights and in some days. Would like to plant California bred 10 yr olds in groups of three under 20 yr old pines. 3 hrs subdued a.m. winter sun. Thanks so much for any info

Hi Carrie,

I'm not sure what you are asking for here. Agapanthus grows in zones 7 to 11, so you should be ok if you are in those zones. I don't know where Walla Walla is. Here's a site with some info on them.
