: : : I very much love the honeysuckle bush..I planted it last year and it bloomed only one time. It is in with my roses that bloom a lot...want to move it to another spot and also prune it to keep it to a smaller size. Thanks Faye Please help!!!!
I'm not sure what you are asking for. Do you need to know how to prune it? Are you thinking it should have bloomed more than once? Most honeysuckles don't do that. Do you need to know how to transplant it or where to transplant it to? Did you take a look at the sites I referred Kathy to? They will probably give you the info you are looking for. If not, please try and explain what info you need as I'm not understanding.
Sorry I can't be of more help at the moment. Do let me know what it is you'd like to know so I can try and help.
: : Hi Kathy,
: : You can easily reduce the size by half and it will grow back. It really is best to cut one third a year so as not to stress the plant. If you do cut it by half, do it in late February or early March. Also, consider pruning the oldest stems to the ground to reduce the overall size.
