There are two other types of plants in the bed along with the ivy. One clump of ivy is about to take over another plant near it. How can I stop this? I thought about using a trellis. The bed has two large trees, two rose bushes and two other ground covers. I can send picture if someone has any ideas. Please HELP!! Hi Melissa, Ivy is an invasive pest in many states. If you put it on a trellis, you're still going to have to play referee. You may have to dig some out, but it's going to be an ongoing project for you. I dug all mine out and I'm not sorry. Newt
