Hi Karen,

Congratulations on your first year of tulips!! Just cut the stem where the bloom was to the base of the plant and let the leaves turn yellow. The leaves will feed the bulb for next years bloom. When the leaves are totally yellow they should come away with a gentle tug. If not, you can cut them then. This should be done with all spring blooming plants.

Also, please remove the caps lock on your keyboard. In computer language it means that you are yelling and it's hard on the eyes. Thanks,
