: Hi, we just bought a new home and realized that there are daffadils and roses in the front yard. The daffadils grew once and now there are no more flowers. The roses are not very prevalent either. How can i help these flowers grow?
: thanks!

Hi Wendy,

Congratulations on your new home!! Daffodils only bloom once in the spring. You can pick their spent flower stalks so that the bulb puts energy into making food for next years blooms. Also allow the leaves on spring bulbs to turn yellow before removing them. The green tops will be what manufactures food for next years blooms.

For rose care you might want to read the FAQ's at this site.
