: I fell in love with this plant, ordered some from Mcclure-Zimmerman Bulbs. They are here! How, what, where, and when do I plant them....how deep? sun/shade? No planting instructions came with them....HUGE THANKS FOR HELP! Oh yes, I live in the Columbia, SC zone. Shirley

Hi Shirley,

Here's a zip code zone finder.
http://www.gardenweb.com/zones/zip.cgi

You can always do a search at www.google.com and put the name in quotes like this: "Agapanthus". You can also click on 'Images' and get pictures as well. Plant it twice the width of the bulb. If the bulb is 3" wide, plant 6" deep.

Here's another site with some useful info.

Hope this helps,
Newt
