: Actually, our hyacinth plants already multiplied some ... we had more flowers this year than last and the blooms were larger. I'm not one who cares alot about things reverting to the old species. I've found many to be heartier than the hybrids.

: I really appreciate your help though ... and will go ahead and remove all stalks except a couple that are full of seed pods. I'm anxious to see if they'll grow new plants or not and willing to waste a couple plants to find out.
