Per Newt (see the 1st reply to my question earlier) they are seeds, but may be sterile. I'm allowing several stalks to mature anyway (but cut the others off as suggested) ... just to see what will happen.

Guess my curiosity got the best of me ... I want to see if they'll grow or not. And I won't know till next year if the original plants suffered. Or if the seeds are any good. Good luck with yours! Clutterbug
