: : : I want to plant some perenial low creeping plants and was told Creeping Jenny was really pretty. I heard it was more obnious weed and very, very invasive. I don't want anything that will take over like Mint. Live in zone 5b/6
: : Yes, creeping jenny will take over if you don't keep after it. Maybe what you want is a groundcover that clumps or spreads slowly to a predetermined size and has 'good garden manners'. If it's a sunny site, consider creeping thyme. There are many different varieties. Here's a site that should be helpful.

: I would not recommend Creeping Jenny. It is taking over my yard and I can't get rid of it. I was hoping to find some help on this message board with ideas on how to remove it. Because it seems that the more I remove the more I get. Help!
