: I purchased 3 plants from the nursery last season which appeared to do well (but no flowers). As this is a biennial I fully expected it to come back this year and flower. To date most of the perennials in my garden are making their appearance but still no sign of life on the foxglove. Is it too early or are they not coming back?
I can always find what I'm looking for on this site. I also purchased a foxglove last year. I'm confused. When I purchased it they were listed as a perennial. They are also listed in my gardening book as a perennial, but you message and a friend said it's a biennial. Can someone please clarify what exactly is a biennial? I've gotten different answers. Also, should I expect my foxglove to bloom again. So far I've not seen any of this plant grow. Thanks~
