Wanted Black bamboo

Hi there, if any on has a cutting of black bamboo to share i sure would appreciate it very much. I have had green bamboo, but i thought it was a little agressive. Dont know any thing about the black. Is it an in door plant or will it live out side here in West Virginia?Thanks alot linda lou
