| This is a semi-weeping, upright, deciduous tree. Leaves are dense, ovate, often lobed, dark green, up to 3 inches long. Red buds develop into single rose red flowers in spring. Produces yellowish-green to red fruit slightly larger than a cherry. Grows to 15 to 25 feet tall and 10 to 20 feet wide. This tree does well in most soil, but will be more attractive if fed peat and compost. Very disease resistant. |
