| This is an erect, deciduous tree. Leaves are dense, ovate, often lobed, gray-green to medium green at maturity, up to 3 inches long. Provides excellent bright orange fall color. Pink buds develop into light pink flowers in spring. Fruit are yellow-green to red, approximately the size of a cherry. Grows to 40 feet tall and 10 to 20 feet wide. This tree does well in most soil, but will be more attractive if fed peat and compost. |
