| 'Green Dragon' is derived from the Olympic Hybrids, flowering in midseason. Bears short racemes of large, fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers tinged greenish brown on the outside and yellow in the centers. This is a showy plant for planting in the shrubbery or herbaceous border.
Deadhead spent flowers, but wait until stems and leaves turn yellow to cut back to within a few inches of the ground. Spring and fall are the best time to transplant, even though they can be transplanted any time. Provide ample moisture while flowering, but can take periods of drought otherwise. |
