| H. arborescens are elegant which best describes this plant. Welcomed, mid to late summer flowers are white to greenish-cream and 6 inches across. More tolerant of sun than most hydrangeas. Flowers may last up to 2 or more months in cooler climates. Grow in moist to well-drained soil and protect from drying winds. You will get the best results in deep, neutral to acid soil. Prune out wayward or crossing shoots in late winter or early spring, when plant is dormant. Grows to 3 foot tall and
