| This is a semi-weeping, spreading, deciduous tree. Leaves are dense, ovate, often lobed, dark green, up to 3 inches long. Red buds develop into single white flowers in spring. Produces an abundance of shiny red fruit slightly larger than a cherry. Grows to 15 to 25 feet tall and 10 to 20 feet wide. This tree does well in most soil, but will be more attractive if fed peat and compost. |
