| This is semi-weeping, spreading, deciduous tree. Leaves are dense, ovate, often lobed, purple, green at maturity, up to 3 inches long. Flowers are rose-pink, fading to white. Fruit are crimson, approximately the size of a cherry. Grows 15 to 25 feet tall and 10 to 20 feet wide. This tree does well in most soil, but will be more attractive if fed peat and compost. Not disease resistant. |
