| A rounded, loose growing evergreen shrub with leathery leaves and fragrant, pale pink flowers in late spring to early summer. Bronzy new growth. Grows 4-6 feet tall and wide. Withstands shearing, but best if left in natural form. An excellent plant for gardens in warmer climates. Often used as a foundation planting.
Soil should be moist, but well-drained and moderately fertile. Does well in full or dappled sun. In marginal areas, plant where there will be protection from cold winds or pockets. |
