| 'Rosea Plena' or 'Sinensis' is a cultivar with double pink flowers, 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
Prunus glandulosa is a spreading, somewhat
straggly shrub growing to 5 feet in height and 4 feet wide. The leaves are alternate, simple, ovate, medium green.
The flowers are pink or white, single or double and not abundant, blooming mid to late spring. The fruits are small, pinkish red and rarely produced. When not in bloom it is not a very distinguished plant.
