| This is a rounded, spreading, deciduous tree, to 50 feet tall. Leaves are ovate, often lobed, dark green, up to 3 in. long. Pink buds produce single, fragrant, large white flowers in spring. Produces red to yellow fruit approximately the size of a cherry. This tree does well in most soil, but will be more attractive if fed peat and compost. Moderately susceptible to disease. |
