| 'Gold Rush' isn't as heavy a producer as the green varieties, but the beautiful bright yellow fruits with bright green bases are a nice addition to a decorative garden. They will tolerate partial sun and require high organic matter and well drained soil. Plant 6 to 8 seeds in each inverted hill. Keep well watered. They are usually ready for harvest 95 to 120 days after planting. Go easy on the fertilizer as you will end up with all leaves. |
