| This perennial succulent is native to Central and Eastern Mexico and has a cork-like caudex which developes narrow, grass-like foliage. Pink, cupp-shaped flowers appear in summer. Grow in well-drained soil in full sun and water and fertilize freely during the growing season. Fertilzer should be low nitrogen. During winter months, keep just moist. Grows to a height of 3 feet tall and 1 foot wide. |
