| This evergreen is usually grown as a shrub, but can be grown as a small tree. It's habit is a narrow to broadly pyramidal. Dark green leaves are linear with spiny tips. Leaves turn to a reddish-green tint in winter and it is highly resistant to winter burn. It is a fast grower which makes it an excellent candidate for a high quality hedge. Trim hedges from summer to early fall. This yew can grow 3 to 4 feet in height and 8 to 10 feet in width. |
