| This late spring flowering lily is commonly sold as a potted plant during the Easter season. When planting from bulbs, set 5 to 6 inches deep. Native to coastal coral sands in Asia, this lily is well suited to warm climates with sandy soil. Hybrid Easter lilies differ from Lilium formosanum as they have dark green foliage rather than lime green foliage. These hybrids do not always do well in the garden. |
