| Ranunculus lingua is semi-aquatic. Growth is erect, to 5 feet tall and 6 feet wide. Leaves are ovate to oblong-ovate, bluish-green, to 8 inches in length, petioles are long and hollow. Flowers have short stalks, golden yellow, cup shaped, usually solitary, to 2 inches wide. Non-flowering stems produce long-stalked, ovate, blue-green leaves with heart-shaped bases. Native from Europe to Siberia. |
