|Menispermum canadense is a deciduous, twining vine, growing from 10-15' or more. It requires support for the slender stems, good canditate for growing on a trellis. The foliage is a solid dark green in summer, with 4-10" leaves, which make it a good screen plant. It is very adaptable and can grow back quickly after cutting, making 6-10' in a season. Greenish yellow flowers are inconspicuous, borne on separate male and female plants. The fruit is black and the seeds look like a half-moon. Easily grown by division, almost weedy.
