| C. walkeriana are epiphytic, evergreen orchids from Central and South America. Tall, pseudo-bulb stalks grow erectly with one long, leathery, ovate, green leaf. 4 inch wide spring flowers are usually solitary, but may have 2 or 3, rich amythyst or white with rose pink or light magenta lips. Requires high humidity and room temperature or higher, with cooler temperatures at night, and good light from the outside, with protection from noon day sun. |
