| 'Apricot Supreme' is a vigorous lily, bearing in midseason, racemes of large, flat-faced, apricot flowers with brown-black spots near the centers, recurved tepals and brown anthers. 3-4ft tall, zones 3-8. Locate in full sun with protection from hot afternoon sun so that flowers last longer. Deadhead spent flowers, but wait until stems and leaves turn yellow to cut back to within a few inches of the ground. Spring and fall are the best time to transplant, even though they can be transplanted any time. Provide ample moisture while flowering, but can take periods of drought otherwise. |
