| This is a semi-weeping, upright, deciduous tree. Leaves are dense, ovate, often lobed, dark green, up to 3 inches long. Pink buds develop into single, white flowers in spring. Produces yellow, fruit slightly larger than a cherry, persistent to December. Grows to 15 to25 feet tall and 10 to 20 feet wide. This tree does well in most soil, but will be more attractive if fed peat and compost. Very disease resistant. |
