|Hardy, low growing, compact perennial. Leaves are lance-shaped and medium green, to 4" long. Widely grown for its dense, deep blue, spiked summer flowers. Outstanding for mass plantings, borders, or containers. Thrives in full sun. Heat and drought tolerant. Not uncommon for this plant to be labeled Salvia nemorosa because ot the similarities.
