| Malope trifida provides excellent color for cool, coastal, summer flower beds. A natural in rocky, limestone soils. Each plant creates a small, shrub-like clump with deep purple-red, trumpet-shaped flowers, which bloom for more than 2 months. Their coloring goes well with white or lighter colored old roses. Also nice with Marguerites. Deadhead to prolong flowering and repeat seed sowing if needed for successive blooms. 'White Queen' bears pure white flowers, to 2 inches wide. |
