|Atropurpureum has dusky pink flowers, and burgundy leaves that persist through the season.
S. telephium can grow up to 2 feet high. It resembles S. spectabile but the leaves are more narrow. It is showy over a long season and dies back over the winter. Flowers in various shades of pink. Various cultivars available. Requires full sun.
Sedums are excellent grown in the rock garden, containers between stepping stones or in wall niches.
