| 'Gold Eagle' is an upright cultivar, bearing racemes of large, strongly fragrant, deep yellow flowers with gray-orange reverses, the green throats have cinnamon-red papillae. This is a showy plant for the shrubbery or herbaceous border.
Deadhead spent flowers, but wait until stems and leaves turn yellow to cut back to within a few inches of the ground. Spring and fall are the best time to transplant, even though they can be transplanted any time. Provide ample moisture while flowering, but can take periods of drought otherwise. |
