| This is a spreading or upright evergreen shrub or small tree, between 2 1/2 to 10 feet tall. Leaves are leathery, toothed, ovate, shiny, green, to 3 inches in length. Pinkish-white, small flowers grow in dense clusters, followed by hairy, red, bird attracting, small fruit.
Withstands poor, exposed conditions and little water. Highly tolerates heat and drought. Native to Southern California inland, Baja California, Arizona. |
