| Low growing, evergreen with dense silvery blue foliage and a uniform growth habit. Good groundcover for large scale areas. Produces small round dark blue fruit. Holds color well in winter. Excellent as a bank cover for erosion control. Admirabilis has a bluish green needle form that grows 8 inches high and 9 feet wide. Main branches are prostate with secondary branches at a steep angle. Primarily juvenile foliage but some scalelike. Male. Turns darker green in winter. |
