|This is a semi-weeping, rounded, deciduous tree. Leaves are dense, ovate, often lobed, dark green, up to 3 inches long. Pink buds develop into white flowers in spring. Produces red fruit slightly larger than a cherry. Grows 15 to 25 feet tall and 10 to 20 feet wide. This tree does well in most soil, but will be more attractive if fed peat and compost. Severely to moderately susceptible to disease.
