| 'Park Farm Hybrid' has pink-budded flowers gradated from pink to white that grow 3 to 5 inches in diameter with a wide-spreading habit. Some literature is noted that it will grow to 4 feet high and 7 feet wide similar to V. x burkwoodii.
This plant is a cross between Viburnum carlesii and Viburnum utile. It is noted not only for its fragrant, snowball-shaped, mid to late spring flowers that are pink in bud, but also for tolerance to pollution, heat, and cold. Leaves are medium to olive green and leathery.
Red fruit persists throughout the winter and beckons birds. Soil should be moderately fertile and moist, yet well-drained in full to partial sun. Evergreen in warmer areas and deciduous in cooler areas. |
