| This tree's fruit is small to medium, dark red in color, with purplish blooms. Flesh is crisp and has an excellent flavor. Growth habit is good but heavy fruit bearing requires thinning. Harvest time is mid- to late season. Somewhat resistant to both scab and mildew. Good candidates for cross pollination are: Liberty, Gala, and Akane. Careful, early training, and annual pruning and shaping are required to insure healthy and productive trees. |
