| Ranunculus lyallii is rhizomatous, grows in clumps, to 3 feet tall and 14 inches wide, semi-evergreen. Basal leaves are round, peltate, dark green, leathery, to 12 inches in length. Flowers are in panicles resembling cymes, white, cup-shaped, to 2 inches wide, between 5 to 15 per panicle. Thrives in cooler weather. Native to New Zealand's rocky areas. |
