| Clematis recta is an herbaceous perennial and belongs to AHS group 3. Small, 3/4 inch long flowers are held in terminal panicles and borne from summer to fall. Blooms are followed by showy, woolly seed heads. Leaves are grayish green, lance-shaped, 3 to 6 inches long. C. recta makes a lovely addition to a perennial border, though it does need support. Native to central and southern Europe. |
