| The cultivar, 'Hungarian Hot Wax' is a dependably productive wax pepper, 58 days until pale yellow, 83 days to red. Peppers reach 5 1/2 inches long, 1 1/2 wide and are waxy, smooth and tapered. Good for stuffing and roasting. Likes a fertilizer treatment once a month. To keep compact, pinch leaves on young plants. Full sun produces best growth and fruiting results.
C. annuum begins as yellow or green and turns to beautiful colors of red, white, yellow and purple. Should be planted in March or April when the temperatures are warmer. |
